Mrs. Ola Robinson, 84, Dies in Douglas Friday

Mrs. Ola Robinson, 84, and mother of Mrs. Robert Grove of Lusk, died Friday, in the Converse County Hospital in Douglas. Funeral services were held from the Peet Chapel in Lusk Monday.

Mrs. Robinson, a Lusk resident since 1958, had been confined to the Douglas Hospital for the past six weeks and had been in failing health for seven years.

The Rev. C. W. Jervis of the First Baptist Church of Lusk officiated at the funeral. Casket bearers were Frank Mahnke, Dick Heine, Bernard Thon, J. P. Watson, Larry Oleson and Harry Brown. Mrs. J. P. Watson was organist and Mrs. Emerson Bonner and Mrs. A. F. DeCastro sang "Abide With Me", "In the Garden" and "Beyond The Sunset." Ola Nanney was one of twin girls born to Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Nanney of Oran, Texas on January 12, 1881. On December 10, 1905 she and James Adam Robinson were married. They were the parents of six children.

Mr. Robinson died in 1931 in Colorado where the family lived for many years. She then moved to Portland, Ore., for a number of years before coming to Lusk.

Mrs. Robinson's twin sister died in infancy and one son Ray died in 1961.

She is survived by five children, Rufus and Ed of Portland, Ore., Clarence of Colorado Springs, Colo., Mrs. Robert Grove of Lusk, Mrs. Lorean Baker of Ft. Collins, Colo.; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Out-of-town relatives attending the services included: Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Robinson and Mrs. Harold Ashpole of Portland, Ore., Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Robinson of Security, Colo., Mr. and Mrs., Ronald Barley of Laramie, Mrs. John Pellegren, Nancy and Robin of Littleton, Colo.
