Lovell Predmore

Lovell Predmore, age 89, of Lusk passed away on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2000, at the Shepherd of the Valley Care Center in Casper. A graveside service was held Monday, Oct. 9, 2000, at 2:00 p.m. at the Lusk Cemetery with Pastor Mark Lohn officiating.

He was born Jan. 28, 1911 to John C. and Minnie Stallings Predmore at Gates, Neb. He attended school at Sandy Ridge and Milburn, Nebraska.

Lovell married Daisy Eunice Worth in January of 1932. They had two children, Gerald Duane and Vivian Delores. They later divorced. He married Opal Giddings on Jan. 11, 1939.

He farmed and worked on several farms and ranches in Nebraska. He was employed the State of Nebraska Game and Parks Commission in Gering.

In September of 1967 they moved to Lusk, Wyoming to be employed at the Hunter Hereford Ranch. He retired in the fall of 1973 and moved into Lusk.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting coyotes and coons.

He entered the nursing home in November of 1995. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Gerald Duane, three brothers and three sisters.

Lovell is survived by his wife Opal of Lusk; one son Kent Predmore of Lusk; four daughters, Iva Gabel and her husband Alvin of Torrington, Nita Knaus and her husband Norbert of Casper, Mary Alice Predmore of Lusk, and Delores Predmore of Klamath Falls, Ore.; one sister Minnie Britton of Gering, Neb.; eleven grandchildren. Several step grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Contributions may be made to the donor's choice. Cicmanec-Pier Funeral Home in Lusk was in charge of arrangements.
