Frank Potter Services Friday
Funeral services were held at the Peet Mortuary in Lusk Friday at 2:00 p.m. for Frank Potter, 78, a former resident of Niobrara County who died December 26 at the Casper Hospital. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.
The Rev. Allen Page of the Open Bible Church of Lusk officiated. Greg Schnose furnished organ music.
Casket bearers were C. E. Marvin, A. F. DeCastro, Menno Kaan, Everette Brooks, Earl Quigley and Ted Jones.
He was born November 14, 1890, in Nebraska and came to Wyoming in 1910, homesteading in the Old Woman Creek area north of Lusk. In 1932 he and a brother purchased a ranch near Rawhide Buttes which they operated until 1957 when Mr. Potter went to Casper.
Survivors include a sister, Mr. Hattie Freeman of New Plymouth, Idaho; a brother, William of Norfolk; and numerous more distant relatives.
