Frank Park, 62, Dies in Casper
Frank Park, 62, of Linch and formerly of Lance Creek, passed away at the Natrona County Hospital in Casper, Monday, July 8, following a short illness.
He was operator of Continental Oil Company's gasoline plant at Linch. He had been employed by the company for 25 years, ten years of which were in Lance Creek.
Mr. Park was born on June 18, 1906 in Council Bluffs, Iowa and he and his family moved to Gordon, Nebr., where he attended school. Prior to going to work for Continental, he worked for the Nebraska Highway Department in Western Nebraska.
He was a member of the Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his first wife, Eunice. On August 15, 1966, he was married to Margaret Washechek.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret at the family home in Linch; one daughter, Mrs. John Barham of Glenrock; three sons, Robert (Bob) of Cody; Frank Jr. of Douglas and Jack of Tioga, N. Dak.; six sisters, Mrs. Jean Coon of Gordon, Nebr., Beth Park and Mrs. Sadie Allwine of Chatsworth, Calif., Mrs. Eva Noonan of Omaha, Nebr., Mrs. Martha Kennedy of Council Bluffs, Iowa and Mrs. Laura Fisher of Lakewood, Calif., one brother, Charles Park of Sunnyvale, Calif. and 15 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, at the Bustard Funeral Home in Casper with the Rev. Clifford Hansen of the First Baptist Church officiating. The body was then to Gordon where graveside services were held on Friday.
