Memorial services for Patsy Ford, age 55, were held Nov. 6, at the First Baptist Church in Lusk, with Pastor Tom Strock officiating.
Patsy Ford passed away Oct. 31, at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper. She was born in Jordan, Mont., on Aug. 3, 1951 to Oscar and Rose (Ziegle) Schlenker. Patsy was the youngest of six children.
Patsy attended school in Jordan, Mont., where she graduated in 1969. She married Vince Ford on Oct. 7, 1977, in Sidney, Mont. They had one daughter, Valerie (Ford) Buchanan, who was born Sept. 30, 1980 in Tioga, N.D.
The family moved to Lusk in 1987, where they remained. Patsy loved her home in Lusk. She enjoyed sitting at the kitchen table watching traffic go by. Patsy also loved jigsaw puzzles, baking and many other things. Her greatest joy of all was her grandson, Alex. They spent a lot of time together. Patsy loved being with her family and her friends.
Patsy always put everyone before herself. She loved everyone and everyone loved her. She will be greatly missed.
Survivors are her husband Vince Ford; daughter Valerie and her husband, Elk and grandson Alex; sisters: Margie (Ben) Trout of Vandalia, Illinois, Terry (Jim) of Lolo, Montana, and Irene (Allen) of Granville, N.D.; brother Dave (Ann) Schlenker of Sidney, Mont.; sister-in-law Norma Pawloski of Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Rose Schlenker, brother Milton Schlenker, and nephew Shawn Schlenker.
A memorial has been established for the family at Box 569, Lusk, WY, 82225. Cicmanec-Pier Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
