Steven Thomas Freyta, age 32, of Lance Creek, passed away Sunday evening at the Niobrara Memorial Hospital in Lusk. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at 3 p.m. at the Cicmanec-Pier Funeral Home in Lusk with Pastor Gary Walker officiating. The body will be cremated after the service.
Steven was born on July 8, 1967 in Denver, Colo. Steven attended the Boecher School in Denver and graduated from Bennett High School in 1986.
He was involved with Special Olympics in Colorado Springs. He enjoyed gambling and riding his bike.
He loved music and enjoyed collecting his favorite songs.
Throughout his life, even with his health problems, he always had a smile. Everyone will lovingly remember him.
He is survived by his parents Robert and Susanna Campbell of Lance Creek, Brothers Douglas Duane Freyta and Danny Campbell of Denver; a sister Dawn Robin Campbell of Denver; nephews Stuart Louis Campbell and Donnie Nelson of Denver, nieces Megan Marie Campbell and Alicia Nelson of Denver; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A memorial has been established.
Cicmanec-Pier Funeral Home in Lusk is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
