Howard Nolan Dies at Cheyenne Thurs.
Funeral services for Edward Howard Nolan of Cheyenne were held Saturday at 3:00 p.m. in the Weidersphan Chapel of the Chimes in Cheyenne with the Rev. J. E. MacGinnis officiating. Interment was in Lakeview cemetery.
Mr. Nolan passed away Thursday at DePaul Hospital following an extended illness.
He was a life long resident of Wyoming, having been born at Old Fort Laramie where his father, the late James Nolan was stationed for a time with the army. He was born in 1883.
He was employed by the city of Cheyenne and State of Wyoming for many years prior to his retirement.
Survivors include one son, Willis James Nolan of Mesa, Ariz.; four daughters, Mrs. Paul Clark and Mrs. Margaret McWilliams of Cheyenne, Mrs. Alice VanCleave of Wichita, Tex., Mrs. Mila Chapel of Albuquerque, NM; four sisters: Mrs. Margaret Lent and Mrs. May Morrison of Cheyenne, Mrs. Harry Eaton of Denver and Mrs. Ann Moody of Sheridan; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Dan, Gint and Jim Nolan.
