Elizabeth Nein

Elizabeth (Betty) Nein, 71, wife of the Rev. Jacob Nein who was pastor of the Congregational Church 1951-1961, died in a nursing home on Ft. Collins, Colo., July 1. She had been an invalid since 1967 at which time the family was living in Billings.

The funeral service was held in a mortuary at Ft. Collins Tuesday morning and burial was there. Besides her husband, Mrs. Nein is survived by two daughters, Helen Fisher and Bernie Easley, both of Ft. Collins. The latter attended Lusk schools into her junior year of high school when the family moved to Casper where Rev. Nein served the Unified Church of Christ for a time. Neins came here from Ft. Collins and moved back there several years ago.

As members of the Lusk church, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Thompson drove to Ft. Collins Sunday to visit the family and Monday Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Bardo drove down to be with the family and attend the funeral.

It will be remembered by some that besides his ministry here, Rev. Nein taught German in Niobrara County High School here for several years.
