Howard L. Freeman

Funeral services for Howard L. Freeman, 79, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 10, 1993, in the Bader-Peet Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Peter Peters of the Laramie Church of Christ officiating. Burial followed in the Lusk Cemetery.

Freeman died Sunday, April 4, 1993 at the Medical Hospital 2000 in Tihuana, Mexico, following a short illness. He was born Dec. 28, 1913, in Sayville, N.Y. the son of Minnie and Albert Freeman.

He graduated from high school in Bristol, Conn., in 1932 and then began his career in engineering.

He was employed with the U. S. Department of Agriculture and Forest Service as a Civil Service Engineer. Prior to that he had worked for the Burlington Union Pacific Railroad.

He attended the University of Montana in Missoula, majoring in Classical Economics which motivated him to lecture on that subject, both abroad as well as widely in the United States.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Survivors include his wife, Ingrid Freeman of Lusk; a stepdaughter, Martina Dykema and her family of Columbia, S. C., a niece, Barbara Irving and family of Media, Pa., and a nephew, Newton Freeman and his family of Palos Verdes Estates, Calif.

He will be missed greatly among his friends and those who knew him well.

Bader-Peet Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
