Robert Mullenax died March 20, 2003, at the home of his daughter LeVina Jean Bartlett in Lusk.
He was born Oct. 6, 1928, in Tilden, Ill., the son of Harvey Earnest and Ellen Harman Mullenax.
He was a veteran of the Korean War; a pilot in the United States Air Force.
He is survived by six daughters, Joyce Ellen Fairbanks and Barbara Kay Bess, both of Grand Island, Neb., LeVina Jean Bartlett of Lusk, Linda Kay Martin of Independence, Mo., Norma Diann Bruns of Kansas City, Mo. and Wanda Elaine Abel of Lake of the Ozarks, Mo.; three sons, Daniel Earl of Ocala, Fla., Robert Arlen, Jr. of the Kansas City area, and David Earl of Independence, Mo.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four brothers, Earnest Richard of Chrisman, Ill., Joe Eugene of Palm Desert, Calif., Harvey Lee of Rock Port, Texas, and Melvin Dale of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and two sisters, Levina Ellen Rakes of Olathe, Kan., and Norma May Huffman of Gallatin, Mo.
