Voyne Clayborn "Bud" Morgan

Funeral services for Voyne Clayborn "Bud" Morgan, 82, were held August 26, 2002, at Cicmanec-Pier Funeral Home in Lusk, Wyo. Interment was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Bud Morgan died August 22, 2002, at Converse Memorial Hospital in Douglas, Wyo.

He was born March 12, 1920, in Flandreau, S.D., to Hardy Wilson and Minny McCleery Morgan. He graduated from Lusk High School in 1939. Upon graduation, he worked for the Hunter Ranch, as well as doing cattle work with his father.

He entered the U.S. Army in 1942, serving in Italy. In 1945, he received his discharge and returned to Lusk.

He married Betty Ione Fernau in 1948.

A rancher, he also worked for his brother-in-law in the plumbing business and was employed by the U. S. Postal Service in Lusk until his retirement in 1987.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Betty Morgan, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother.
