Mrs. Opal Fox Dies in Idaho
Mrs. Opal (Emens) Fox of 816 Franklin Road, Nampa, Idaho, died February 22. Born November 6, 1902, to Orivall and Margaret (Mark) Emens at Niobrara, Neb., the family later moved to Sioux County. She married George Fox June 8, 1921, at Harrison where they lived a short time and later took a homestead at Fort Laramie, Wyo.
They moved to Caldwell, Idaho in 1933 where she lived until moving to Nampa at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Davis. Mr. Fox died January 2, 1965.
Mrs. Fox was a member of Methodist Church, Womens Relief Corp, and the Eagles Auxiliary.
Surviving are two sons, George W. of Caldwell, and Gary R. of Boise, Idaho; three daughters, Marjorie Davis of Nampa, Datherine Wallace of Twin Falls, Idaho, and Shirley Bethel of Caldwell; a brother Jack Emens of Caldwell; four sisters, Pearl Kammeyer, Ermma Tallomon, Amy Daniels of Caldwell, and Dorothy Akerlumd of Boise. There are 29 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter Betty Jean, a brother Ory Alvin and a sister Vera.
