Ethel Ann McDonald, 63 of Greeley, Colo., died February 11, 2004. She was born May 3, 1940 at Shenorock, New York.
She was formerly from Wyoming and had moved to Greeley in 1963. She graduated from Niobrara County High School in Lusk, Wyo.
She was formerly married to William Ward Daniel, Frank Henderson Randall and Jerry McDonald.
She was a dietary manager that worked with several different local nursing homes. She loved to play the piano, fish, garden, camp, bird watch and play pool. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.
Ethel touched many lives with her compassion and love. Even in her last days, she made new friends easily. Her love for life inspired all those who knew her. She will be missed beyond words.
Survivors are her mother, Wyona Pearl (Lackey) Overman, Casper, WY; a son, Frank & wife Shelli Randall, Greeley, Colo.; Daughters Jeannie Jerke & husband Bill, LaSalle, Colo.; Gail Daniel, Cheyenne, Wyo.; Elizabeth "Beth" Dees, Battlement Mesa, Colo.; Sisters: Lois June Ladwig, Wyoming; Virginia Ellen Bowen, Wyoming. Brothers: Edwin Don West, Wyoming; Jimmie Lee West, Texas; and 9 grandchildren: Jordanne, Corey, Ryan, Heather, Jessica, Hope, Kristyn, Jenna & Joshua, and a special friend & companion, Gary Hanson, Greeley, Colo.
Ethel is preceded in death by her brother Billie Roy West and stepfather John Overman.
Services were held February 17 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of LaSalle, Colo. Place of burial at Linn Grove Cemetery, Greeley, Colo.
