Mrs. Doris McDaniel Dies in Casper, Wyoming
Mrs. Doris Applegate McDaniel, 53, of Casper, Wyo., a former resident of Sioux County died Saturday at a Casper hospital. She was born Dec. 24, 1913 at Curtis, Neb. She was married to Earl McDaniel July 28, 1932.
She lived most of her life in Sioux County. She graduated from Minatare High School and lived in Minatare for two years after her marriage then moved to Twin Falls, Idaho. In 1945 they moved to Casper.
Survivors include: her husband Earl, of Casper, her mother Mrs. Lester Applegate of Scottsbluff; one daughter, Mrs. Shirley Boatman of Casper; two sons, William and Monroe, both of Casper; four brothers, Everett, Donald and Stanley Applegate of Minatare, Willard Applegate of Worland, Wyo.; three sisters, Mrs. M.E. Beyer of Casper, Mrs. Lloyd Shuey of Scottsbluff and Mrs. Harry Kenagy of Worland, Wyo.; and ten grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services were held June 27 at the First Baptist Church in Casper. Burial was in Minatare.
