Ida M. McAdoo
Ida M. McAdoo, 66, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 19, 2000. She was born April 19, 1934, in Kirtley, Wyo. She was the daughter of the late Harlan and Ruby Lohr. She graduated from high school in Lusk in 1952. In 1993, she moved to Victorville, Calif., with prior residence in Westminster, Calif.
She was formerly employed by Don Felipe's Restaurant in Garden Grove and Nikki's Cafe in Apple Valley. She was active in the fraternal organization, Daughters of the Nile, Merret Temple No. 103.
She is survived by her husband John; daughters - Barbara Eklund and husband Laird, Jackie Johnson, and Sheila Hart, all of Victorville; son - Danny Johnson and wife Crystal of Henderson, Nev.; stepson Tommy of Sonora, Texas; seven grandchildren and five siblings: sisters - Mary Porter and husband Willard, Grace Wilkison and husband Cliff - all of Manville, Edna Kazandjian of Yorba Linda, Calif.; brothers - John Lohr and wife Lolly of Lusk, George Lohr and wife Laura of Madison, Ga., and sister-in-law Dorothy Lohr of Lusk and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ida was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Gene and Walt.
A gracious and caring woman, she was devoted to her husband, family and friends.
A memorial service was held Friday, July 21, 2000 at First Assembly of God Church in Hesperia, Calif.
Victor Valley Mortuary handled the arrangements.
