Funeral services for Lander resident Debra Lee Malmborg, 52, were held Jan. 2, 2003, at the Wyoming State School Chapel, with Pastor Ron Coglin officiating. Burial followed at the WSTS cemetery.
Debra Malmborg died Dec. 27, 2002, at the Wyoming State Training School Health Care Center.
She was born on Dec. 15, 1950, to Kenneth Lee and Paula (Culver) Malmborg in Lusk. She resided at the Wyoming State Training School since 1956.
Debra was described as a joy to be around, always bringing a smile to her caregivers' faces. She was very affectionate and could always be seen blowing kisses. She enjoyed monster truck shows and going on picnics in the park, and going swimming. She liked doing household chores such as laundry and dusting.
Survivors include her father Kenneth of Cheyenne; a sister, Kari Mulinex of Green River; two brothers, Kent Malmborg of Spokane, Wash., and Kody Malmborg of Cheyenne; six nephews; and five nieces.
Preceding her in death was her mother Paula, and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Memorial contributions may be made to the WSTS Chapel Fund.
