Dane C. Magoon

Dane C. Magoon, 25, of Rapid City, S.D., died June 26, 1996, at Rapid City Regional Hospital.

Services were at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Osheim-Catron Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bill Savery officiating. Burial was in Pine Lawn Cemetery in Rapid City. A memorial has been established.

He was born Aug. 21, 1970, at Torrington to Bruce and Marjorie (Schneider) Magoon. The family moved to Rapid City in 1979. He attended Rapid City schools and also attended Western Vo-Tech.

Survivors include his mother of Rapid City; his father of Bernalillo, N.M.; grandparents Charles and Vera Schneider of Rapid City; aunt and uncle Lyle and Janice Baumeister of Rapid City; cousins Betty Jo and her husband, Jim Dunaway of Alamagordo, N.M., and Kara and her husband Dennis McCarty of Rapid City.

Paternal grandparents are May Magoon Earickson of Loveland, Colo., and the late Jack Magoon of Lusk.
