Jesse William McCormick

Services for Jesse William McCormick, 90, will be held Wednesday, July 17, 1991 at 2 p.m. at the Peet Mortuary Chapel in Lusk with Rev. Muriel Michaels officiating. Interment will be in Lusk Cemetery.

He was born at Flandereau, S.D., on April 5, 1901 to Martin J. and Jennie G. McCormick.

He came to Lusk with his parents in 1909 to live on his father's homestead, where he grew to manhood.

After his father's death in 1929, he and his mother continued to operate the farm until 1951 when he moved to Lusk.

On Jan. 1, 1953, he married Mollie Stigile. After her death in 1977, he moved to the Ranger Apartments in 1978. He resided there until Sept. 3, 1987, when he entered the Niobrara County Memorial Nursing Home. He resided there until his death on July 13, 1991, in Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, Neb.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Johnnie Thon of Lusk; two step daughters, Helen Blackmore of Dallas, Texas and Norma Rae Craig of Tyler, Texas; one step-son, Kenneth Airhood of Torrington, Wyo.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lusk.

Memorials to First Baptist Church in Lusk would be appreciated by the family.
