Norris V. Mudra

Graveside services for Norris V. Mudra, age 75, of Casper, Wyo., were held February 21, at the Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery, with Rev. Judith McQuiston from Winter Memorial Presbyterian Church officiating.

Mr. Mudra died February 15, at the Poplar Living Center in Casper, Wyo., of a lengthy illness.

He was born February 24, 1918 in Lusk, Wyo. to Jim and Mary E. Rickman Mudra and was raised and educated in Lusk. He graduated from Lusk High School.

Mr. Mudra married Geraldine Mudra on November 17, 1962, in Casper, Wyo.

He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of the Moose Lodge, Odd Fellows, American Legion #2, the #1564 Carpenter Union in Casper, Wyo. and the Independence Rock Masonic Lodge #56.

Mr. Mudra was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Geraldine.

He is survived by daughters, Marilyn Butcher, Arvada, Colo. and Carolyn Sailer, Westminster, Colo.; step daughters, Arlene Langinstien, Summersville, S.C. and Darlene Tucker, Casper, Wyo.; step son, Larry Gilman, Rapid City, S.D.; half brother, Everett Allen, Riverton, Wyo.; four grandchildren; six step grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

The family requests memorials to the Norris Mudra Fund in care of Marilyn Butcher, 8397 Chase Drive, Arvada, CO 80003.

Memorial Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory of Casper, Wyo. was in charge of the arrangements.
