Mrs. Marian Lynn, Wife of Former Lusk Man, Dies in Iowa; Last Rites and Interment at Waterloo, Monday
Marian Virginia Lynn of Gilmore City, Iowa passed away at 5:30 a.m. October 25th, 1956 at the age of 29 years, 10 months and 23 days, following a short illness. Marian was born in Barkley Township, Blackhawk County, Iowa, December 2nd, 1926.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Lynn, formerly of Lusk, a son, James Arthur, age 7; two daughters, Virginia Fae, age 4; and Janet Marie, age 2; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reuben F. McDonald, brother, Robert F., all of Waterloo, Iowa; mother-in-law, Mrs. Fae H. Lynn of Lusk, Wyo.; three sisters-in-law, Dorothy McDonald of Waterloo, Thelma Scott of Hat Creek, Wyo.; and Shirley Lynn, Cheyenne, Wyo.; two brothers-in-law, Lewis M. Lynn of Cheyenne and Robert Scott of Hat Creek and numerous other relatives and friends.
Marian was graduated from high school at Jesup, Iowa in 1944, where she had attended all 12 years of school. She attended Iowa State Teachers college, Cedar Falls, Iowa for a short time and was graduated from the School of Nursing at the Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo in February 1948, receiving her R.N. degree.
She practiced nursing at both the Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo and the Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames, Iowa. Marian had been active in both church work and civic clubs.

Funeral services were held at Gilmore City, Iowa at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 27th, and in Waterloo, Ia., at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 29.

Wife of Dale Lynn Dies in Iowa Thursday
Mrs. Dale Lynn, 29 of Gilmore City, Iowa, daughter-in-law of Mrs. Fae Lynn of Lusk, died October 25 following a short illness. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Gilmore City and in Waterloo on Monday.
Marian Virginia McDonald was born December 2, 1926 in Barkley, Iowa. She attended all 12 years of school at Jesup, Ia. where she graduated in 1944. She attended Iowa State Teachers College, Cedar Falls, Ia. for a short time and graduated from the School of Nursing at the Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, receiving her R.N. degree in 1948.
She married Dale Lynn of Lusk March 20, 1948 in Waterloo, Ia. They became the parents of three children, James Arthur, 7, Virginia Fae, 4, and Janet Marie, 2.
Survivors include her husband and three children, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reuben f. McDonald, a brother, Robert F., all of Waterloo, her mother-in-law, Mrs. Fae H. Lynn of Lusk and other relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Scott of Hat Creek and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Lynn of Cheyenne left Friday for Gilmore City to attend services. Mrs. Fae Lynn had left the previous week.
