Lewis Lundblad Dies in Washington
Lewis Victor Lundblad, a former resident of northern Goshen County and a brother-in-law of Mrs. Fae Lynn of Lusk, died November 5 in the Rawley Hospital at Mr. Vernon, Wash. Death was due to heart and lung congestion.
Mr. Lundblad was born in Denmark May 23, 1875 and became a sailor when a young man, spending several years on the sea. He later prospected for gold in Alaska during the goldrush days and was co-owner of one of the famous mines at that time. Later he moved to the United States.
He married Miss M. ErDena Lynn, sister of the late L. M. Lynn, September 1, 1919 in Lusk and they lived on the bride's homestead ten miles south of Node until 1922 when they moved to Comano Island, off the coast of Washington state.
Mrs. Lundblad died in May, 1945, but Mr. Lundblad continued to make his home there until his death.
