Postponed Funeral Services for Mrs.Lorenzen Held Mon.

Funeral services for Mrs. Beulah Lorenzen, 77, of Lusk who died April 1 at the Manring Convalescent Home from complications of old age, was held Monday at 2:00 p.m. from Peet Chapel. Rev. Jacob Nein was in charge. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery. The services were originally set for Saturday but because of the blizzard were postponed.

A mixed quartet composed of Miss Phyllis Johns, Mrs. H, J, Templeton, Rex Yocum and Dan Christian sang "In The Garden" and "Old Rugged Cross." Mrs. Gerald Bardo was organist.

Pallbearers were Oscar Bostrom, A. F. DeCastro, P.J. Owens, C. E. Marvin, E. M. Bonner and Harry Fernau, Sr.

Beulah Lala Martin Lorenzen was born May 23, 1880 in Floyd, Va., the daughter of Pamela Brammer and William Martin. One of a family of eleven, seven brothers and three sisters.

She was a member of the Methodist Church of Crawford transferring her membership to the Congregational Church at Lusk. She was a member of the Congregational Circle and the Royal Neighbor Camp of Manville.

At a youthful age she with her parents, made their home on a ranch north of Harrison. She and Jurgen Lorenzen of Lusk were married November 16, 1904 in Harrison. They made their home in Lusk for the past 54 years. They were the parents of three sons and one daughter. Mr. Jurgen died April 9, 1954.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lyle Miles of Lusk; two sons, Harry of Lusk and George of LeGrande, Ore. Ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two sisters and three brothers also survive. A son Charles previously died.

Mrs. Lorenzen Dies In Lusk Tuesday

Mrs. Jurd Lorenzen died Tuesday evening at Manring Convalescent Home. Survivors include three children, Mrs. Lyle Miles, and Harry Lorenzen of Lusk and George Lorenzen of LaGrande, Ore. Funeral arrangements are indefinite.

Mrs. Miles and daughter Lala, were visiting Mr. and Mrs. George Lorenzen at LaGrande at the time of her death. They were expected to arrive in Lusk Wednesday evening.
