Doris F. (Dodie) Murphy Lingelbach
Doris F. (Dodie) Murphy Lingelbach, 74, of Manville passed away on March 8, at the Regional West Medical Center at Scottsbluff, Neb. following a long illness. A memorial service will be held Saturday March 16, at 11 a.m. at the Cicmanec-Pier Funeral Home in Lusk with Pastor Jason Playle officiating. Cremation has taken place and she will be buried at the Waco Memorial Park in Waco, Texas.
She was born to T. J. and Monna Murphy in Amarillo, Texas, on June 28, 1927. Doris grew up in Texas. She worked as a bookkeeper throughout her life. She later moved to Denver, Colo. where she met and married Lyle Wayne Lingelbach on Sept. 2, 1970. They lived in Casper and Waco, Texas before moving to Manville, where she resided until her death.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents; one aunt, Mabel Manuel; one cousin, Mona Lou Harn; and her husband, Wayne.
Doris is survived by her cousin, Margie D. Manuel of Waco, Texas,; her stepsister, Mary Alice Gold Armstrong of Garland, Texas; a stepbrother, L. M. (Sonny) Gold of Longview, Texas; five stepchildren and their spouses, Fran and Al McCarty, Carrie and Harold Martinson, Audrey and Al Hanson, David and Linda Lingelbach, and John and Beth Linglebach; and numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
The memorial service is under the direction of Cicmanec-Pier Funeral Home in Lusk.
