Edwin "Fritz" Dale Anthens
Funeral for Edwin Anthens held Thurs.
Funeral services were held last Thursday afternoon for Edwin Anthens, 48, at the Peet Chapel with the Rev. Roger Koen officiating.
Mrs. Emerson Bonner and Mrs. Lyle Eddy sang "Beyond the Sunset" and "The Old Rugged Cross". Pallbearers were Mike Miller, C.E. Marvin, Nick Kaan, Robert Taylor, Ab DeCastro and Frank Christian. Burial was in the Lusk cemetery.
Edwin (Fritz) Dale Anthens was born January 26, 1915, at Douglas and died February 4, at the Memorial Hospital in Cheyenne.
He attended school in Lusk and Chadron, and worked on ranches most of his life, he was married to Lelia Anderson in Sheridan, August 14, 1961.
He is survived by his wife, Lelia, his mother, Mrs. Archie Pace of Chadron, two sisters, Mrs. Lucille Giester of Ruleton, Kans., Mrs. Donna Marie Henry of Tacoma, Wash., two step children, Linda and Jimmy and several other relatives.
