Mrs. Leasendora Dies Here Thurs; Services held Mon.
Mrs. Dorothy Leasendora, 70, of Lusk died Thursday art the Spencer Hospital from cardiac thrombus. Funeral services were held Monday at 2:00 p.m. from Peet Chapel with Rev. Frank Bozart officiating. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.
Mrs. Otha B. Holcomb and Mrs. H. J. Templeton sang "Near the Cross" and "Beautiful Isle." Mrs. J. P. Watson was organist.
Casket bearers were Jake Wahl, Charles Vaughn, C. E. Marvin, Jess Rice, A. F. DeCastro and Glen Erlewine.
Dorothy Beatrice Leasendora was born December 4, 1886 in Hall Station, Mo. She had lived the past 35 years in Lusk where she had worked as a cook and waitress in various cafes.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Clark Beaird of California and Marie Williams of Washington; one son, Jess Leasendora and a brother, Jess Hudson of Torrington. Her husband, John, and a son previously died.
