Jo Ann Larson Dies From Accident Injuries

Jo Ann Larson, 27, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Larson of Lusk died in the Converse County Memorial Hospital about 4:30 a.m. Saturday from injuries she received in an automobile accident about five miles east of Orin Junction at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Miss Larson, who was employed by the Superior Oil Company in Casper, was driving her 1953 Chevrolet to Lusk from Casper when the car left the highway and turned over one complete turn as she evidently attempted to bring it back on the highway. She was thrown out of the car when it rolled but suffered no visible injuries.

The accident was investigated by Highway Patrolman Daniel Webster of Douglas who says there was no apparent reason for the accident.

Funeral services were held at the Peet Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Jacob Nein officiating.

A quartet composed of Lee Johnsonbaugh, Dale M. Bardo, Miss Phyllis Johns, and Mrs. Samuel M. Thomas sang "In The Garden" and "Beyond the Sunset." Mrs. Gerald Bardo was organist. Pallbearers were Jack Pfister, Loren Walker, Marvin Davies, Delmar Alter, Malter Larson and Noal Larson. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Josephine Ann Larson daughter of Warren and Charlls Larson was born in Lusk May 11, 1932.

Miss Larson attended school in Douglas and Lusk, graduating from Lusk High School in 1951 where she was a member of the National Honor Society and active in other school organizations. She was a member of the Congregational Church and sang in the Church Choir. She was also a member of Job's Daughters.

She attended Central Business College in Denver and was employed in that city six years before moving to Casper to be nearer to her family.

She is survived by her parents; two brothers, Jim of Denver and Jack of Harrison; her grandmother, Mrs. Malter Larson of Mitchell, Nebr.
