Norma Lange Deceased December 11, 2001

Norma Lange, 69, of Lusk passed away at her home on Tuesday morning, Dec. 11, 2001

A funeral service was held Friday, Dec. 14, 2001, at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lusk with Pastor Marvin Temme officiating. Interment will follow in the Lusk Cemetery.

Norma J. Frank Lange was born in Prescott, Wis., to Vera (Belter) and Everett Frank. She moved with her family to Blue Earth, Minn. when she was 4.

She was confirmed in the Lutheran faith in 1947. She graduated from Blue Earth High School in 1951. In August 1951 she married Dale Lange. He was in the service and they lived in Ft. Campbell, Ky. for four years. Their first child was born there. They returned to Blue Earth for 12 years where four more children were born.

In 1965 they decided they wanted a change and moved to Lusk. They bought the Rawhide Motel and operated it for 26 years. She enjoyed the people very much. They retired in 1991 and enjoyed fixing up an older home and working in the yard. She loved tole painting and made many dear friends during that time. All her children have homes decorated with her things.

Her true love was Jesus Christ and her grandchildren. They brought her much joy. She enjoyed watching them in sports, activities and just growing up.

She is survived by her dear husband, Dale Lange, three daughters and one son. They are Sandi and Fred Anderson of Gillette, Jude and Dave Redfield of Lusk, Nancy and Scot Herrin of Big Springs, Texas; and Bob and Lisa Lange of Midland, Texas. Her 11 grandchildren are Andy, Anna, Heidi, Josh, Haley, Colter, Taylor, Scott, Stephie, Zach and Zane. She is also survived by two brothers and two sisters, Dave and Al Frank, both of Blue Earth, Minn.; and her two sisters, Betty Buffie of Plant City, Fla., and Ruth Falkenberg of San Rafael, Calif. and also many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Pat, one brother Leon and a daughter Joanie. The family suggests memorials to St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Lusk. Cicmanic-Pier Funeral Home in Lusk handled the arrangements
