Jack Anderson Funeral This Wed. Morning
Funeral service for Charles Jack Anderson, 86, was being held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Peet Chapel.
Mr. Anderson died May 9 at the Silver Cliff Hotel where he had been a resident since November.
Father Colm Woods of St. Leo's Catholic Church was officiating at the service and casket bearers were Roger Percival, John Jassman, Dave Jassman, Harry Fernau, Chuck Vogel, and Earl Townsend. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.
Mr. Anderson was born in Big Springs, Tex., June 22, 1886. He worked as a sheepherder for many years on the Herman Werner ranches at Casper coming to the Lusk area two years ago. Accompanied by his dog and wearing a full heavy beard he was often seen on Lusk's main street.
Mr. Anderson had no known survivors. Efforts are still being made to locate information concerning his past and possible survivors.
