Mrs. Koeberlin Dies Saturday

Mrs. Mary A. Koeberlin, 89, died at Gra-Mar Manor rest home in Scottsbluff Saturday. Funeral services were held from St. George's Episcopal Church in Lusk Monday and burial was in the Lusk cemetery.

Mrs. Koeberlin was born in Carthage, Mo., to Mr. and Mrs. John C. Lawton August 9, 1878. She had been an adventuresome young woman. Before homesteading in Niobrara County she had taught piano in an eastern school, at a Midwestern college and Iowa University. When she married Otto Koeberlin in 1926 and moved to Lusk she brought her fine training with her. She taught piano until 1945.

The Rev. Dean Addington, rector of St. George's Episcopal Church, officiated at the services. Casketbearers were Otto Krekeler, Jack Magoon, Henry McGinnis, Nick Kaan Sr., George Dixon and Bob Miller. Mrs. Donald Johnson, Dr. Richard Collins, Mrs. Robert Bramlet and Harry Lyon sang, "The Nunc Dimittis" and "Now the Day is Over." Mrs. J. P. Watson was organist.

Mr. Koeberlin died March 21, 1965. There are no closely related survivors.
