Harold E. Kennedy
Services for Harold E. Kennedy, 87, of Glenrock, were held at the Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery with the Rev. Rick Bishop of Glenrock Community Baptist Church officiating. Military rites were accorded by Natrona County United Veteran's Council.
He died Nov. 24, 1999, at Wyoming Medical Center. He was born June 27, 1912, to Robert E. and Nancy (Monroe) Kennedy in Pacific Junction, Iowa.
He was raised in the midwest states and entered the Army in 1941 during World War II. He was honorably discharged in 1943. After the service he worked on several ranches and farms in Converse and Natrona Counties. He retired from Corning Glassware in 1975. He enjoyed fishing and livestock.
He is survived by three daughters: Marie Alexander of Douglas, Eileen Lundblad of Glenrock, and Gayle Davis of Clayton, Okla.; four sons: Bill Kennedy of Lusk, Jerry Roadhouse of Salt Lake City, Utah, Kendall Kennedy of Casper and Kevin Kennedy of Blair, Neb.; one brother, Homer Kennedy of Gateway, Colo.; three sisters: Elise Aubry of Pacific Junction, Iowa, Eileen Briston of Vernal, Utah and Ruby Motes of Council Bluffs, Iowa; 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, two brothers and three sisters.
Memorials to the Senior Center of Glenrock may be sent to Bustard's Funeral Home which was in charge of arrangements.
