Joe Kelliher Dies in Calif.
Funeral Mass for Patrick Joe Kelliher, 60, was held October 11 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church in Long Beach, Calif. Interment was at All Souls Cemetery.
Mr. Kelliher died Oct. 9 in a Long Beach hospital. He had suffered a heart attack Oct. 7.
Kelliher was born in Lawrence, Mass., in 1918. The family later moved to Wyoming where he attended school and graduated with the class of 1936.
On June 21, 1940, he married Margaret Olson at Lusk. The couple made their home at Lance Creek until moving to California in 1943. Kelliher had been a foreman for the city of Signal Hill Dept. of Water for the past 17 years and was named "Employee of the Year" in 1977.
He is survived by his widow Margaret; son Bill; and son and daughter-in-law, Pat and Faye; three grandchildren; and a brother Bill.
