Brother of local men dies in Iowa
Thomas E. Alter, 94, brother of John and Bunt Alter of Lusk, died January 23 at Ottumwa, Iowa.
He was born May 4, 1872 in Iowa and volunteered in the Spanish American War in 1897.
He was a retired contractor and visited here several times.
Neither of the brothers from Lusk will be attending the services.
