George Keller Dies Here Monday Night

George Albert Keller was born in Mound City, Mo., on the 16th day of October, 1877. He spent his early boyhood there, moving to Nebraska in 1889 when he was 12 years of age. He grew to manhood there. On the 15th of September, 1901, he was married to Gay Robinson of Anselmo, Nebraska. To this union two sons were born: Hubert and Arthur Keller. Mr. Keller was a farmer until 1906, at which time he became a carpenter. He moved to South Dakota in 1909 and came to Lusk in the autumn of 1911. He ran a bakery for several years - a restaurant for eight years and again followed the trade of carpenter. He worked for two years in Lance Creek with the J. M. Huber Co., and one year in Borger, Texas, with the same company. Poor health caused him to give up this work.

He passed on last Monday night, December 31st, at the age of 57, the cause of his death being carcinosus of esphagus of the lungs. He leaves his wife, his two sons, Hubert and Arthur Keller, one sister, Mrs. Clarence Doman of Anselmo, Nebr., and a brother Will Keller of Portland, Oregon. His mother and father and two sisters preceded him in death.

Services were held at the Congregational church on Thursday, Jan. 3, with Rev. E. F. Irwin officiating. Interment was made in the Lusk cemetery with the Midwest Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were the Messrs. M. Bishop, Elmer Meyers, George McCabe, J. D. Lorenzen, Mose Umphenour and Wm. Edmondson. Music was furnished by Mrs. H. J. Templeton.
