R. A. Johnson Killed in Car Accident Sat.
R. A. (Ron) Johnson, Casper, was killed Saturday when his car ran off the road 21 miles west of Casper.
Mr. Johnson was born July 24, 1938, in Lusk. He grew up in Lusk and Kimball, Neb., and entered the Air Force in November, 1954.
He married Sharon K. Moffat, in 1957 in Malad, Idaho. Following his discharge from the service he attended Casper College. He was self-employed in the oil and gas leasing business in Casper.
He is survived by his wife, three daughters JoDean, Julie and Ronice, one son, Kenneth, his mother Mrs. Geraldine Johnson, Ft. Collins, Colo., one sister, Mrs. Lonnie (Beverly) Wolf of Ft. Collins, and two brothers Donald of Lusk and Jimmie of Casper.
Funeral service was held Tuesday at Bustard Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Heglund of the Grace Lutheran Church officiating. Graveside military honors were accorded at Highland Cemetery by the George W. Vroman Post 1 of the American Legion.
