Wilma F. Jassman

Graveside services for Wilma F. Jassman, 77, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 6, 1998, at the Dellview Cemetery with Pastor Gary Walker officiating.

Mrs. Jassman died August 2, 1998, at the Niobrara County Memorial Hospital in Lusk.

She was born Nov. 2, 1920 in Bristol, Colo., the daughter of Chub Walter and Juanita Rebecca (Baughn) Lashmett. She attended the first grade in Manville and then moved back to Holly, Colo. She began playing softball at the age of 13 and played for many years in Holly. She loved to bowl and play cards; she loved the outdoors, her gardens and her flowers. Her favorite pastime was watching baseball games.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Charles Carl (Chubby) and a baby brother Lashmett; two sisters; Jeannie Marie Lashmett; and two husbands, Herman Mayhan and Chris Jassman.

Survivors include five daughters, Joyce Flores of Omaha, Nebr.; Sandra Ross of Lance Creek, Helen Moriarity of Sheridan, Mary Ann Hart of Gillette and Judy Lamb of Torrington; two sons, Raymond Mayhan of Kalispell, Mont., and David Jassman of Lusk; two sisters, her twin Delma Maye Foley of Manville and Becky Nazmas of Wheatland; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. August 5 at Bader Funeral Home in Lusk.

Bader Funeral Home of Lusk is in charge of arrangements.
