Eugene Albert Dies in Oregon
Eugene G. Albert, 76, former Lusk resident, died January 8 in Medford, Ore.
Funeral services were held from the Chapel in the Trees Mortuary with burial in Siskiyou Memorial Park January 11. The Rev. Fred Sapp of the First Advent Christian Church of Medford officiated.
Mr. Albert was born March 16, 1887 in Germany. He had been a resident of Oregon for 22 years, having moved there from Wyoming. He had been an employee of the U. S. Government for 31 years, prior to his retirement, and was employed by the Department of Interior in the Fish and Wildlife Service.
In 1954 he and Claudine Phillips were married. He was a member of the AF&AM Lodge of Lusk, the National Association of Retired Civil Service Employees and a member of the Lutheran Church of Brooklyn, N.Y.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Frederick of Cheyenne, Edwin of Laramie and Arthur of San Jose, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Ihla Brown of Salinas, Calif.; two step-daughters Mrs. Ted G. Marshall, Astoria, Ore. and Mrs. Dan L. Dow of Huntington Beach, Calif.; one brother, Albert of Riverside, Conn.; two sisters, Mrs. Emily Baptiste, Brooklyn, N.Y. and Mrs.. Katherine Walter of Philadelphia, Pa.; and 13 grandchildren.
