Floyd Holbert Last Rites Held
Funeral services for Floyd Garvis Holbert, who died at Crawford on December 20, were held December 23 at the Houston Funeral Home with the Rev. J. Lee Gorman of Harrison officiating. Burial was in the Crawford Cemetery.
Mr. Holbert had been Mobil Oil distributor at Harrison for 20 years, retiring in 1964 and moving to Crawford. He was born August 8, 1899.
He leaves his wife Margaret and two daughters, Vera Wilson of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, and Lois Hoyt of Glenrock, Wyo.; a bother, Ed Holbert, Sandpoint, Idaho; a sister, Celia Fielwiler, Milwaukee, Wis.; two stepsons, Richard and Vern Basse of Thermopolis, Wyo.; and a stepdaughter, Doris Teliver of Newcastle, Wyo.; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Ethel and a son Lloyd.
Among those from Harrison who attended the funeral services were Mrs. Marion Hall, Mrs. Frank Hoyt, Mrs. Alvin Publow, Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Fox, Mrs. John K. Eberspecher and Bill Hall.
