Rosary services for John Hoff, 74, will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 8 at the Peet Mortuary Chapel in Lusk. The funeral mass will be at St. Leo's Catholic Church with Rev. Tony Jablonowski officiating. Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Denver.
Mr. Hoff died Sunday, April 5, 1987 at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper. He was born April 22, 1912 in Ellis County, KS, the son of Charles and Josephine Hoff.
As a young man he moved to Denver where he worked at the Home for Retarded Children until his retirement. He moved into the Niobrara County Nursing Home in Lusk on Dec. 31, 1985, living there until moving to Casper for surgery.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Alma; a brother, Ralph; and one sister, Leona.
Survivors include four brothers, Bill of Kermit, TX, Charles of Hays, KS, Elmer of Lance Creek and Larry of Rapid City, SD; one sister, Firma Hoff of Casper; plus numerous other relatives and friends.
