Art Hitchcock Dies Here Friday
Funeral services for Arthur J. Hitchcock, 68, were held Friday afternoon from the Peet Chapel in Lusk with the Rev. Frank Bozart of the Open Bible Church officiating.
Mr. Hitchcock died at his home last Wednesday of a heart condition.
Mrs. J. P. Watson was organist. Mrs. Emerson Bonner and Mrs. Lyle Eddy sang, "Beyond the Sunset" and "the Old Rugged Cross".
Pallbearers were: Paul McDaniels, Reuben Boatright, Albert Glasby, Ted Jones, Don Emery and Mike Hammer.
Arthur J. Hitchcock was born September 19, 1895 at Fremont, Neb. the son of Otto and Elizabeth Hitchcock. His early childhood was spent in Nebraska and South Dakota. At the age of ten his family moved to Niobrara County where he had resided since. He homesteaded on Dogie Creek in northern Niobrara County where he married Eva Beem. Because of ill health they moved to Lusk in 1960.
He is survived by his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Ben Wolfe of Casper, Mrs. Joe Wolfe of Glenrock, Mrs. Elmer Fleming and Mrs. Harry Brown of Lusk; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Arthur Hitchcock Dies Here Wed.
Arthur Hitchcock, 68, died at his home Wednesday morning at 7:30 of a heart condition.
Funeral services will be held Friday from the Peet Chapel at 2:00 with burial in the Lusk Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Eva; four daughters, Mrs. Elmer Fleming, and Mrs. Harry Brown of Lusk, Mrs. Bennie Wolfe of Casper, and Mrs. Joe Wolfe of Glenrock.
