Funeral services and burial for former Wyoming resident Harold D. Harris, 65, of Kennewick, Wash., were held at the Coeur d'Alene (Idaho) Memorial Gardens Jan. 18, 1990.
Harris died Jan. 14, 1990 in Kennewick after an 11-month illness of cancer. He was born May 4, 1924 in Oxford, Mo., and moved to Wyoming in 1932. He served during World War II with the 784th AAA in France, Germany and Belgium.
Harris was employed for more than 25 years in Wyoming law enforcement. He moved to Idaho in 1984 and then to Washington where he worked as an apartment manager until shortly before his death.
In 1946 he married Beulah Reffalt.
In addition to his widow, he is survived by two daughters; Lydia Bird of Buffalo; and Mrs. Jerry (Sue) Tibesar of Coeur d'Alene; one son Donald of Riverton; one brother Eugene of Lost Springs; six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Harris, two brothers, Ray and Ab, of Torrington; and one sister, Ona James of Grand City, Mo.
