Longtime Harrison resident dies suddenly
Funeral services for Wilford Hatch, 64, of Harrison, Neb., were held Friday, April 10, 1992, at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church with Fr. Neal Nollette officiating. Burial was at St. Mary's Cemetery. A wake service was held Thursday, April 9, at 7 p.m. at the church.
Hatch died Monday, April 6, 1992, at Rapid City Memorial Hospital in Rapid City, S.D.
He was affiliated with American Legion, Knights of Columbus, NVATA, Harrison Fire Department, Harrison Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) and was the Fair Board director.
Survivors include his wife, Donna of Harrison; a son, Edgar of Harrison and a daughter, Suzanne Czarnick of Genoa, Neb.; his mother, Mabel Hatch of Lexington, Neb.; brothers Virgil of Alliance and Verl of Chandler, Ariz.; sisters, Dorothy Glenn of Lexington, Neb. and Carol Ballard of Norfolk, Neb. and one grandchild.
A memorial has been established to the Harrison Rescue Unit. Donations may be sent to The Security Bank in Harrison.
Chamberlain Chapel of Crawford was in charge of arrangements.
