Services for Virginia A. Hernandez, 54, of Cheyenne, were held at Sunnyside Baptist Church with the Rev. Max Jansen officiating. Interment was in the Lakeview Cemetery.
Virginia died March 29, 1999, at Presbyterian St. Luke's Hospital in Denver.
She was born July 2, 1944, in Lusk and moved to Cheyenne in 1960.
She was a secretary for First National Bank and New York Airbrake. She was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church and was involved in the Humane Society.
She is survived by her husband, Vincent "Ben" Hernandez of Cheyenne, whom she married June 6, 1988; two brothers, Jim Martin of Oxnard, Calif., and Bill Martin of Lusk; two sisters, Vicky Kennedy of Casper and Verta Sue Bartlett of Ogema, Wis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Ann Martin and a brother, Virgil Martin, Jr.
Friends may contribute to a charity of their choice.
Services were under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes.
