Virginia Lee Henton

Funeral services for Virginia Lee Henton, age 80, will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 24, 1996, at the Bader Funeral Home in Lusk with Rev. Helen Oates officiating. Burial will follow in the Lusk Cemetery.

Mrs. Henton dies Monday, June 17, 1996, at the Niobrara Memorial Hospital in Lusk following a long illness. She was born November 5, 1915, in Longmont, Colorado, the daughter of Benjamin and Leola Silvers. She was raised and attended schools in Ft. Laramie and Glenrock. She graduated from high school in Glenrock in 1932.

She married Dale Henton on July 24, 1935, in Wheatland, Wyoming. Mr. Henton died on November 28, 1978. They were lifelong residents of Lance Creek before moving to Lusk in 1978.

Mrs. Henton was a lifelong member of the Rebecca's Lodge. She worked for many years in the Lance Creek schools as a cook.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a brother, Foster; and one son, Richard.

Survivors include: her daughter, Beverly Williams and son-in-law Bob Williams of Bullhead City, Arizona; two granddaughter, Cindy Williams of Wheeling, West Virginia, and Teri Boehme of Caldwell, Texas; one grandson Stewart Genton of Canoga Park, California, one great-grandson, Levi Boehme of Caldwell, Texas; and three great- granddaughters.

For those who wish, memorials to the Niobrara County Nursing Home will be appreciated by the family.
