Theresa Caroline Heckelbech
Mrs. Heckelbech Resident Since 1910 Dies Fri.
Mass was celebrated Monday at 10:00 a.m. by the Rev. Terence McGovern at St. Leo's Catholic Church for Mrs. Theresa Caroline Heckelbech, 92, who died in Lusk March 24. The Rosary was recited March 26 at the Peet Chapel at 7:00 p.m. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Peet Mortuary.
Casket bearers were Martin Glandt, Chris Glandt, Wayne Heckert, Pete Germann, Ray Heckert and Alvin Haase.
Theresa Caroline Heckelbech, daughter of Thomas J. Brewer and Mary Ellen MacAttee, was born October 25, 1879, at Perryville, Mo. She attended school in Perryville and was married to George Phillip Heckelbech at St. Louis, Mo., December 4, 1909. They came to Wyoming in 1910 and homesteaded 7 1/2 miles northwest of Van Tassell. The family moved to Lusk in 1943.
Mrs. Heckelbech is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ross (Mary) Kilgore of Rolla, Mo., Mrs. Dick (Rosie) Glandt, Torrington, and Mrs. Harold (Mable) Leighton of Redmond, Ore., eight grandchildren, one sister, Nettie Hager of Perryville, Mo., and 13 great-grandchildren. Her parents, Her husband, three brothers and three sisters died previously.
