Graveside services for Opal Predmore, 92 were held Saturday, March 11, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. in Lusk with Pastor Tom Strock officiating. She died at the Goshen Care Center in Torrington March 7.
Opal was born Jan. 9, 1914, on her grandfather, Joe Gidding's homestead in rural Ansley, Neb. to Ira R. and Alice E. Sherbeck Giddings. She attended Clear Creek grade school for eight years then went on to attend Westerville, Neb. rural high school graduating with the class of 1932.
Opal married Lovell Predmore in Broken Bow, Neb. She was an avid gardener and reader and also enjoyed crossword puzzles.
Her parents, one brother, Delbert Giddings, her husband and two grandsons, preceded her in death.
She survived by four children: Mary Predmore of Lusk; Kent Predmore of Lusk; Nita Knaus (Bert) of Casper; Iva Gabel (Alvin) of Torrington; four grandchildren: Greg, Brian, Geraldine and Kara and two great-granddaughters: Briana and Gabbi; two great grandsons: David and Tristan.
Cicmanec-Pier Funeral Home of Lusk was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
