Florence Marie Brenner
Florence Marie Brenner, age 88, died Wednesday, Jan. 18, at the Poplar Living Center in Casper.
She was born Dec. 8, 1917, in Scotland, S.D., the daughter of George H. Gunn and Sidna L. Brown.
She was raised in the Lusk area, and she attended and graduated from Lusk High School. She moved to Casper in 1947. Her interests included: Painting and volunteer work with Wyoming Medical Center, the Fort Caspar Museum and Meals on Wheels.
She had been employed as an elementary school teacher in the Lance Creek and Mills school districts and continued to substitute teach for several years after leaving the full time positions.
She attended the University of Wyoming.
Sisters, Mary Kennelly and Dorothy Dupes of Casper and a brother Hugh Gunn of Sheridan, a son Dick Brenner of Lakewood, Colo., and a grandson Richard Brenner of Golden Colorado plus a granddaughter, Lynnette Stevens and great-grand\daughter Autumn Stevens and Ella Stevens of Durango, Colo., survive Marie.
