Harvey Harnagel Dies In Casper
Funeral service for Harvey Harnagel, 71, was held Wednesday at Casper. Mr. Harnagel, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. O. P. Harnagel, died Monday at Natrona County Memorial Hospital.
He was born in West Point, Iowa, Dec. 27, 1900. The family moved to Kirtley, when he was two years old. He grew up there and attended school in Lusk.
In 1919 he attended a mechanics school in Kansas City, Mo., and the next year went to Casper and opened a battery shop, later a mechanical repair shop, which he operated until he retired last December.
He married Pearl Byer May 5, 1926 in Casper. She died in February, 1965. Surviving are a son, Floyd Harnagel, Casper, a sister Mrs. Velma Giinther, Tempe, Ariz., and two brothers William R. of Bakersfield Calif., and Ray of Hot Springs, S. D.
