Bernard Goebel Dies on May 16
Bernard Goebel was born April 29, 1890, ay Brislon, Germany, to Albert and Matilda Goebel. The family came to the United States and moved to Eastern Nebraska. Later they moved south of Harrison. Bernard moved to eastern Wyoming at that time.
He entered the United States Army September 5, 1918. He was stationed at Fort Riley, Kans., and was discharged October 19, 1921. He lived in Harrison until 1969. Since then he has resided at the Crestview Lodge, Rushville, Neb., where he died May 16.
His parents, two sisters, and one brother preceded him in death.
Survivors include a sister Tillie Buckley of Littleton, Colo., a brother Paul of Woodland, Calif.
