Lorren H. "Larry" Fay
Memorial services for Laramie resident Lorren H. "Larry" Fay, 75, were conducted at 11 a.m. February 23, 2004 at the United Presbyterian Church in Laramie by the Rev. James DeSmidt.
He died February 19, 2004, at Ivinson Memorial in Laramie.
Born September 21, 1928, in Fay; and graduated from East High School in 1946 and the University of Denver in 1950.
He married Georgia Lee Story on September 18, 1955.
He served in the military during the Korean War.
Following his honorable discharge, he began a long professional career in the automobile business in Denver and Laramie. He had a life long love for cars.
Known for his commitment to family, he enjoyed reading, playing the piano, watching all sports, especially the University of Wyoming Cowboys, and Denver Broncos, gardening, and working crossword puzzles. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Lions Club, and American Legion, a lifetime member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity and 32nd degree Mason.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Georgia "Dodie" Fay of Laramie; daughter Leslie Dee Frederick and her husband of Clinton, Utah; two sons, Lorren H. "Tripp" Fay and his wife of Littleton, Colo.; and Lowell G. Fay of Grand Canyon, Ariz.; five grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; sister Diane Fay of Denver; and many nieces and nephews and cousins.
