Wyoma F. Freeman, 84, former Grand Junction resident passed away Dec. 18 at Lakewood, Colo., where she has resided for the past six years.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Dec. 22 at Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Wyoma was born June 8, 1920 to Owen Conner and Naomi Kay Shroyer at Campbell County, Wyo. She spent her childhood and attended schools in Gillette. On April 6, 1941, she married Arthur Freeman in Gillette. He preceded her in death at Grand Junction on Sept. 3, 1991.
Wyoma had lived in Grand Junction for 35 years before moving to Lakewood. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. She was a retired waitress.
Mrs. Freeman is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Joe and Gail Freeman of Bothell, Wash., Jesse and Sharon Freeman of Westminster, Colo.; sister Verna Buckmaster of San Diego, Calif.; two grandchildren, Brenda Freeman and Kurt Freeman and one great grandchild, Donaven Freeman.
